Evening programme

The evening programme of the Šabac City Theatre consists of our productions, as well as guest performances from Serbia and abroad. The longest-lived production in our evening programme is “The Bald Soprano” directed by Nikita Milivojević, successfully performed for 25 years now. The most awarded production is “Pericles” by the same director, closely followed by “Edgetown (Rubište)” written by Ninoslav Đorđević, and directed by Kokan Mladenović.

We stage dramatic and postdramatic productions of different genres, and each year our evening programme adds 3-8 new productions. The shows in the evening programme commence at 20h.

Children's matine programme

The Šabac City Theatre is an institution with a special focus on the productions intended for children and youth. These shows commence at 12h or 18h, while it can also be agreed with schools or organised groups for them to be played at some other hour. We make 2-3 children’s productions annually, while also regularly hosting productions performed by the “Funky Monkey” (“Veselo majmunče”) association, which is led by principal drama artists of our theatre. Apart from productions for children, we also have those intended for young adult audience.
